Time for some belief busters.

Let’s examine some common beliefs and how they may affect you… and just a little insight into why they are not true and completely reprogrammable.

As we go through your beliefs, you may come across some issues or past events that you may need help from a professional to overcome. When you come across things like this, please go and seek help. There are wonderful people out there who can readily help you and there is and never will be any shame in asking for, or getting help.

The four main areas of belief systems we are going to cover are:

  • Beliefs around eating.
  • Beliefs around why you are the size you are.
  • Beliefs about weight loss.
  • Your payoffs.

As we go through these ideas, sometimes things will pop into your mind. Write these down because they may come in handy later. More importantly, what we are going to do now is begin to open your awareness. Just like we talked about before when we discussed how our mind starts to see things that we tell it are important to us (such as a new car and then we see it everywhere)  this is what is about to happen with your beliefs.

From this point forward, you will begin to look at the way you view what you do in your life with a greater understanding. As you go about your day, you will be shown the reasons and the behaviors that are standing in the way of achieving your new normal.

Each time one of these beliefs shows up, write it down.

First you will be taught how to identify them, and then you will learn how to reprogram these beliefs.
